Larimar Olive Leaf Ring in 925 Sterling Silver
An olive branch laid across the finger, its leaves cut from Larimar in tapering marquise shapes and set along a fine sterling silver stem. The design sidesteps the usual single-cabochon format entirely, spreading the colour across several small stones instead of concentrating it in one.
Larimar is a blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic. Each leaf is cut from naturally formed stone, so they vary between pale sky blue and softer green-blue, and no two branches read quite the same. That unevenness is what natural material looks like.
At around 3 grams it stays light and sits close to the finger, which makes it easy to wear alongside a plain band.
In Caribbean and crystal tradition Larimar is associated with the sea and sky, the throat chakra and calm communication. These are traditional associations rather than demonstrated effects.

Care
Larimar is relatively soft at 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale, and the leaves have exposed edges, so treat it gently. Remove before swimming, showering and exercise, clean with a soft damp cloth, and store away from harder stones. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged sunlight.
