Is your Larimar genuine?

Our jewelry features genuine natural Larimar identified as originating from the Dominican Republic. We carefully select pieces and rely on supplier product information and available material details when evaluating them for our collection.

Where does Larimar come from?

Larimar is a rare blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic. “Dominican” describes the stone’s origin; it does not mean every finished jewelry design was manufactured there.

Is every Larimar stone the same?

No. Each natural Larimar stone has its own combination of blue tones, white patterns, inclusions, and natural variation.

How can I tell if Larimar is genuine?

Why is Larimar rare?

Larimar is valued in part because its known natural source is limited to the Dominican Republic. Color, pattern, size, condition, and appearance can affect how a stone is described and valued.

How is your Larimar sourced?

Our pieces feature genuine Larimar identified as originating from the Dominican Republic. We rely on supplier product information and available material details and do not claim mine-level provenance or certification unless specifically documented for an individual item.

Our Larimar originates from the Dominican Republic, while our jewelry designs are produced through trusted jewelry partners worldwide. We select pieces based on their materials, design, quality, and the natural beauty of the Larimar they feature.

Is your jewelry handmade?

Our collection includes jewelry produced through trusted jewelry partners worldwide. We focus on carefully selected designs and genuine Larimar, and identify a piece as handmade only when that detail is specifically supported.

What materials are used?

Materials vary by design. Product pages identify details such as 925 sterling silver only when supported by available product information.

Caring for Your Larimar Jewelry

How do I clean it?

Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry completely. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, steam, abrasives, jewelry dips, and harsh chemicals. Larimar generally measures about 4.5–5 on the Mohs scale.

Can Larimar get wet?

Remove it before swimming, showering, bathing, exercising, or using lotion, fragrance, sunscreen, or cleaning products.

How should I store it?

Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box, away from harder gemstones, prolonged sunlight, extreme temperature changes, and humidity. Read our Larimar Jewelry Care Guide.

Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Allow 3–7 business days for processing and approximately 7–15 business days in transit. Most standard orders arrive in 10–22 business days total, excluding weekends, holidays, customs, and carrier delays.

Do you ship internationally?

Eligible destinations appear at checkout. International delivery may take 10–25 business days after dispatch. Applicable duties, taxes, or import fees are the customer’s responsibility.

How can I track my order?

You’ll receive a tracking link after dispatch. Allow up to 7 business days after ordering for processing and tracking. Contact info@brieandmarie.com if it has not arrived.

Returns and Refunds

Return requests are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unworn and in original condition. Approved returns receive store credit; direct exchanges and refunds to the original payment method are not currently offered.

For damage or defects, email info@brieandmarie.com within 14 days with your order number and clear photos. When appropriate, we’ll arrange an available replacement or store credit.
