Adjustable Larimar Halo Ring in 925 Sterling Silver
An oval Larimar cabochon circled by a halo of zircon, so the blue sits at the centre of a ring of light. Larimar is a blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic, and because it forms naturally, each cabochon has its own drift of turquoise, pale blue and white. Yours will not match anyone else's.
The band is adjustable with an open shank, so it can be eased to fit rather than committed to a single size, which makes it a forgiving choice as a gift. At roughly 2.2 grams it stays delicate despite the halo giving it more visual weight than the stone alone would.
In Caribbean and crystal tradition Larimar is associated with the sea and sky, the throat chakra and calm communication. These are traditional associations rather than demonstrated effects.

Care
Larimar is relatively soft at 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale. Adjust the band gently and sparingly, remove before swimming, showering and exercise, clean with a soft damp cloth, and store away from harder stones. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged sunlight.
