Larimar Woven Split Band Ring in 925 Sterling Silver
A round Larimar cabochon sits in a plain bezel while the band beneath it splits into woven strands, one smooth and one worked with a fine rope texture. It gives the ring the look of something more elaborate than a single-stone design without adding extra stones.
Larimar is a blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic. Each cabochon forms naturally, so the depth of blue and the way the white runs through it varies from piece to piece.
At around 3 grams it sits substantial on the hand, the kind of ring that carries an outfit on its own.
In Caribbean and crystal tradition Larimar is associated with the sea and sky, the throat chakra and calm communication. These are traditional associations rather than demonstrated effects.
