Larimar Molten Band Solitaire Ring in 925 Sterling Silver
An oval Larimar cabochon held in small claws above a band that looks poured rather than drawn, its surface rippling and uneven on the way to the shoulders. The organic shaping is the point, so no two viewing angles look quite the same.
Larimar is a blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic. On a single small cabochon the colour reads clearly, ranging from soft sky tones to deeper blue depending on the stone you receive.
At around 2.8 grams it stays comfortable for everyday wear despite the sculpted band.
In Caribbean and crystal tradition Larimar is associated with the sea and sky, the throat chakra and calm communication. These are traditional associations rather than demonstrated effects.

Larimar is relatively soft at 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale. Remove before swimming, showering and exercise, clean with a soft damp cloth, and store away from harder stones. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged sunlight.
