Larimar Leaf Cluster Open Ring in 925 Sterling Silver
Three marquise-cut Larimar stones fan out from one side of an open silver band, overlapping like leaves on a stem or the flick of a tail. The open shank means the cluster sits off-centre and the whole ring reads as a small sculpture.
Larimar is a blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic. Three stones side by side rarely match exactly, so expect subtle differences in tone and veining across the group. That variation is part of the design.
At around 3.9 grams it has weight without being heavy, and the open band gives a little flexibility in fit.
In Caribbean and crystal tradition Larimar is associated with the sea and sky, the throat chakra and calm communication. These are traditional associations rather than demonstrated effects.

Care
Larimar is relatively soft at 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale, and pointed marquise tips are the most vulnerable part of any setting. Remove before swimming, showering and exercise, clean with a soft damp cloth, and store away from harder stones. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged sunlight.
