Larimar Halo Stud Earrings in 925 Sterling Silver
Round Larimar cabochons framed by a halo of small sparkling stones, set in sterling silver. Larimar is a blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic, and because it forms naturally, each cabochon carries its own balance of turquoise, pale blue and white. The pair you receive will be its own.
Studs are the easiest way to wear Larimar day to day: nothing to catch, nothing to swing, and the halo gives the small stones more presence than their size suggests. At around 2.3 grams for the pair they sit comfortably for long stretches.
In Caribbean and crystal tradition Larimar is associated with the sea and sky, the throat chakra and calm communication. These are traditional associations rather than demonstrated effects.

Care
Larimar is relatively soft at 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale. Remove before swimming and showering, clean with a soft damp cloth, and store in a pouch away from harder stones. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged sunlight.
