Larimar Cascade Open Ring in 925 Sterling Silver
Four oval Larimar cabochons, graduating from largest to smallest, curve along a silver band that loops open rather than closing. The line they follow gives the ring movement, like water running off to one side.
Larimar is a blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic. Across four stones the colour rarely matches exactly, so expect a gradient of tones and different veining in each cabochon.
At around 3.7 grams it has presence without heft, and the open loop makes it easy to slide on.
In Caribbean and crystal tradition Larimar is associated with the sea and sky, the throat chakra and calm communication. These are traditional associations rather than demonstrated effects.
