Larimar Bubble Band Ring in 925 Sterling Silver
A wide openwork band built from overlapping circles, some filled with Larimar, some with zircon, and some left as open silver rings. It looks like sea foam or a scatter of bubbles, and the gaps are as much a part of the design as the stones.
Larimar is a blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic. Spreading it across several small rounds rather than one centre stone means you see the range within the material itself, from deeper turquoise to almost white.
At around 4.5 grams this is the most substantial ring in the collection, wrapping most of the way around the finger. It needs nothing stacked with it.
In Caribbean and crystal tradition Larimar is associated with the sea and sky, the throat chakra and calm communication. These are traditional associations rather than demonstrated effects.

Care
Larimar is relatively soft at 4.5 to 5 on the Mohs scale, and an openwork band has more places to catch than a solid one. Remove before swimming, showering and exercise, clean with a soft dry brush to reach between the circles, and store away from harder stones. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged sunlight.
