Larimar Bar Ring in 925 Sterling Silver
A long rectangular Larimar bar, bezel-set east-west so it lies along the finger rather than across it, on a plain slim band. Nothing else: no accents, no texture, no ornament competing with the stone.
Larimar is a blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic. The elongated cut is flattering to the material, since a bar this shape shows the pale blue running into white in one continuous sweep rather than in a compressed round. Each one falls differently.
At around 2 grams it is genuinely minimal, the kind of ring that disappears into daily wear and stacks cleanly with others.
In Caribbean and crystal tradition Larimar is associated with the sea and sky, the throat chakra and calm communication. These are traditional associations rather than demonstrated effects.
